June 1976 The Village Greenery Inc was opened on Old Kings Road as a landscapeing and garden center by Bob & Dorothy Parker May 1979 Opened a new shop in the Palm Harbor Shopping Village next to Palm Coast post office. Dec 1979 Decided to become a florist and joined AFS and Teleflora wire services. May 1985 Old Kings road store was burned down due to wildfires that consumed many homes in the Pine Lakes portion of Palm Coast. Nov 1985 Joined FTD wire service. July 1995 Robert Paker was hired to manage store as an FTD certified Master Floral Manager. Oct 1996 The florist goes online with the website www.thevillagegreenery.com May 1997 Sunshine Parker was hired to run the floral department and assist managing the shop. Dec 2001 Bob & Dorothy Parker were in a fatal automobile accident while making a floral delivery in Bunnell, Fl. Jan 2002 Robert & Sunshine Parker took over as new owners of the Village Greenery Inc.
